Certificate verification
Verify a CDTIN certificate
Every certificate issued by the Capacity Development Training Initiative carries a serial number and a verification code. Anyone may check one here — an employer, a lender, an agency, or the holder of the certificate.
Check a code
Enter the verification code
It is printed on the certificate, usually beneath or beside the serial number.
Certification
How a certificate is earned
Against demonstrated competence, not attendance — which is why the register behind this page can be relied on.
A participant completes a baseline assessment before training and the competency assessment on the second day at the centre. Certification is issued against that assessment. On the Digital Skills stream the same assessment also determines eligibility for a device award.
Each certificate names the recipient, the stream, the date of issue and the venue, and carries a serial number from a controlled range together with the verification code checked on this page. The register of issued certificates is kept as a permanent record so that a certificate can be verified for as long as anyone relies on it — see section 9 of the privacy notice.
